JINAN, China—Provocative evidence is emerging that emotional distress can adversely affect outcomes among patients with lung cancer. Data from a study of the role of hormones in affecting lung cancer outcomes were reported at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology in an oral communication entitled: Clinical Impact of Baseline Hormones on Outcomes of First Line Immunotherapy in Extensive Stage Small-Cell Lung Cancer.
