Luciano J. Costa MD PhD; IMS 2026: Teclistamab plus Daratumumab in Patients with Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma brings “Dramatic Reduction” of Progression Risk, Without Increased Risk of Death: MajesTEC-3 Phase Three Study Findings
GLASGOW, Scotland—A combination of the bi-specific T-cell engager antibody teclistamab (that targets both B-cell maturation antigen and CD-3) paired with the anti-CD-38 monoclonal antibody daratumumab markedly extended relapse-free survival, and improved overall survival among patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma in comparison with standard of care triplet therapy. This was in the international multi-center phase three MajesTEC-3 study reported at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the International Myeloma Society.
